Pessima Vol.2 – Jenna Marvin Edition

Pessima is an annual, independent magazine that explores and represents Trans* identities. It delves into how these identities are conveyed through the lens of young contemporary art, highlighting the varied experiences of the subjects. The project emerged in response to the absence of a similar editorial initiative within the international magazine landscape. With firsthand experience of what it means to be an emerging young Trans* artists in Italy, Simona and Marte combined their efforts to create a platform that could amplify the voices of those identities and art forms often overlooked or silenced by the mainstream. Pessima was thus conceived primarily to shape a dialogue around Trans* art that genuinely represents and honors us.
